Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 21, 2026

Rehabilitation Medicine Partners (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect through our website and our communications with you — including SMS text messaging — how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or providing your information to us, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, which may include:

    Contact information, such as your name, mailing address, email address, and phone number;

    Appointment-related information needed to schedule, confirm, or reschedule your visits;

    Your mobile phone number and SMS consent status, if you opt in to receive text messages from us.

Our website may also automatically collect limited technical information, such as browser type, device type, and pages visited, which we use in aggregate to improve our website. This Policy does not replace our Notice of Privacy Practices, which governs how protected health information (PHI) is used and disclosed under HIPAA. A copy of our Notice of Privacy Practices is available at our office upon request.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

    Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments;

    Respond to your questions and requests;

    Send appointment-related SMS text messages to patients who have opted in;

    Operate, maintain, and improve our website and services;

    Comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

We do not use your information for third-party marketing, and we do not send promotional or advertising text messages.

3. SMS Text Messaging

Rehabilitation Medicine Partners offers SMS text messaging to established patients for appointment scheduling, confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling requests. Patients opt in by providing written consent on our patient intake/registration form. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for assistance. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care or services.

Mobile opt-in data collected will not be shared or sold to any partners, businesses, or other third parties. SMS consent and phone numbers collected for SMS communication purposes will not be shared with any third party or affiliates for marketing purposes.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

    With service providers who perform services on our behalf (such as our telephone and messaging service provider), solely as necessary to deliver those services and subject to confidentiality obligations;

    As required by law, such as in response to a subpoena, court order, or other lawful request by public authorities;

    To protect the rights, property, or safety of our patients, our practice, or others.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or mobile networks is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please be aware that standard SMS text messages are not encrypted; do not send sensitive medical information by text.

6. Your Choices

    SMS opt-out: Reply STOP to any text message from us, or contact our office at (541) 776-5065, to stop receiving text messages.

    Access and correction: You may contact us to review or update the contact information we have on file for you.

7. Children's Privacy

Our website and SMS program are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our website.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
